FlowClips are a fun new way to show off your impressive and beautiful FlowStar collection.
The FlowClip is designed with usability and versatility in mind, after many iterations we arrived at a size and clip tension that will accommodate most stars in multiple orientations. Your thick and/or folded stars will be a snug fit, where the slimmer ones hold best when pulled a little higher into the clip. This clip shape also provides another benefit, stars can be pulled right out of the clip with no fiddling around and no risk of damage to your star or wall! We found this far more enjoyable than a super tight hold that was a chore to undo when you just want to flow.
Thoroughly clean desired wall location with included alcohol pad.
Do not use household cleaners or water!
Allow to completely dry.
Remove backing from Command Strip.
Line up straight and press firmly onto the wall - hold for 30 seconds.
For best results, allow the strip to bond for 1 hour before use.
Want a new Look?
Grasp side of star and pull firmly to the right to remove.
Do not use the FlowClip without a star design clicked into place first.
Align rear of star with the slot on the right side of the clip, slide in until you hear the click.
Two genuine Command Strips are included with every FlowClip to provide the best possible chance at a clean and damage-free removal. This is not in any way a guarantee, use at your own risk - however after trying many alternatives, these strips are what we personally trust the most.
For best results use on smooth solid surfaces. Do not use on rough or textured surfaces. (Ex: wallpaper, brick, fabric, etc.)
Remove Star.
Untuck the Command Strip tabs.
PULL
Very very slowly stretch the strips upward by the tabs, until the adhesive breaks free.
Do not pull straight out from the wall!
Due to the flexible nature of the plastic used, if you display a thicker star in a folded orientation you may find the clip eventually does not return to it's natural completely closed state. This should not hurt the usability outside of extreme scenarios - but regardless there is an easy fix to get it tightened back if needed:
Slide out the star design from the clip (Important!)
Grab your favorite hair dryer, you will point it straight down over the top of the clip, do not turn it on yet.
Simultaneously with your other hand, lightly push on the jaws of the clip so it is completely closed.
Turn on dryer, and hold the clip for 10 seconds, then evaluate. Time is dependent on heat of your dryer, that's why we used your favorite. Hotter but shorter is best. Do not overheat the clip. The clip itself will be fine, but there is no need to compromise the integrity of the Command Strip adhesive needlessly.
Allow clip to completely cool for half an hour before use again.
